HUNGARY
What is life like for the people of Hungary?
In the land-locked country of Hungary, citizens live peacefully. Most of them speak Hungarian or Romani. A hefty 12-hour flight away from the US, Hungary is a great spot to visit; this beautiful ancient country is home to sightseeing locations such as Buda Castle and the Hungarian Parliament Building. The nearly 10 million people who call Hungary home use the currency "forint" to buy and sell. The Hungarian national animal is the Royal Bengal tiger, and their national food is goulash: a stew of meat, with paprika and other spices. Speaking of paprika, many Hungarians will agree that paprika is "essential for a healthy life", as it is their national spice (Swains).
What makes Hungary beautiful?Because of its ancient roots, nearly all of Hungary is inherently beautiful. Home to intricate castles and monuments, Hungary is a popular sightseeing location. In addition to this, it is the birthplace of the famous Harry Houdini, as well as the world's first wine region. Their obsession with paprika is a large part of their culture; today more than 1,000 tons of the spice are produced every year in Hungary. According to Zoe Johnson, a travel writer, "There are two paprika museums, Szeged and Molnar, which give an insight into the industry as well as a spicy sample."

What challenges is Hungary confronting?
One of the challenges Hungary currently faces is their government and its leader, Viktor Orban. According to BBC, Orban has "concentrated an unprecedented amount of power in his hands", and is "alarming other EU leaders with his brand of nationalist populism". The election of left Hungary divided between older voters who voted for Orban, and young voters who powered for change.
